Just a short walk from the Museum is its off-site facility dedicated to hands-on art education for children and adults: The Ridley-Tree Education Center at McCormick House. At the Ridley-Tree Education Center, a variety of art classes and camps provide an atmosphere where creativity, studio art practices, and fun combine to create an enriching experience for people of all ages.

At ArtVenture Camps children spend their day immersed in hands-on art making, cultural history, and creative problem solving. Lots of personal attention by professional artists and art educators, and the inspiring atmosphere of the beautiful McCormick House, guarantee an unique art experience. Children are grouped by age in four studios; art projects are suitable for each age group and are always new and exciting.

The Robert and Marlene Veloz Children's Gallery has re-opened with an exciting new installation - Off the Wall: Art & Stories which re-imagines works of art from the permanent collection as stories you can enter and alter at the push of a button or the turn of a handle.
