This popular yearlong course features outstanding scholar-lecturers on art history and world culture and is a collaboration of SBMA, UCSB, and Santa Barbara City College’s Adult Education division.  Moderator: Jill Finsten, Ph.D., SBMA Director of Special Projects for the Study of Art and Culture. The Penderecki String Quartet

This quartet returns to SBMA performin Beethoven’s String Quartet in B flat major, op.18, no.6; AndrzejPanufnik’s "Wycinanki" String Quartet no. 3 (1991); and Piotr Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet no.1 in D major, op.11. Mary Craig Auditorium.
