Visitor Services Associate – Part Time 12- 18 hours/week. The Santa Barbara Museum of Art is seeking friendly, outgoing, dependable person with good customer service skills to serve as Visitor Services Associate. As a Visitor Services Associate, you are an essential facilitator between visitors and the Museum, ensuring members and visitors have an enjoyable, engaging, and memorable experience. Your duties will include greeting visitors, providing information about the Museum’s exhibitions, hours and events, collecting admission fees, and selling memberships. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and excellent public relations skills. One to three years previous cashier experience preferred; knowledge of or interest in art/art history desirable. Requires some evening, holiday and/or weekend hours when the Museum is open to the public.
The position reports to the Member and Visitor Services Supervisor
Schedule: varies from 12 to 18 hours per week, weekends required, and on-call as needed.
