Students will learn how to prep materials, use basic tools, center clay, throw simple forms, and trim and glaze their pieces. Inspired by Jorge Pardo’s Untitled (Sea Urchin), this session will focus on printed underglaze transfers of shadowy insects and amphibians. Week 1: Intro to pottery & Throwing forms

Week 3: Throwing forms and Trimming
Week 4: Trimming
Week 5: Glazing
