Family 1st Thursday

Bring the whole family to enjoy Teaching Artist-led activities in the Museum’s Family Resource Center. Create an abstract painted collage from a blind contour drawing on chipboard, then paint sections of the drawing in one primary color mixed with white and accent a single shape in black. Finish by arranging the painted squares on a base paper to complete your collage. January’s project is inspired by Frederick Hammersley’s In the Pink (1964). Afterward, enjoy the galleries until 8 pm.
