About the Archives
The purpose of the SBMA Archives is to preserve, manage and make accessible records of its institutional and exhibition history to Museum staff as well as outside researchers and scholars, and to create and manage the Museum’s Records Management Program. We maintain records of museum publications, exhibition catalogues, archival photography, and oral history recordings and transcripts
Due to the ongoing renovation the Archives will be closed to the public for the foreseeable future. Research queries can be directed to archives@sbma.net
