Join artist Alejandro Cartagena, whose work is currently on view in Looking In, Looking Out: Latin American Photography, in SBMA’s Family Resource Center and be a part of Cartagena’s installation La Sala Familiar!

Bring photos or objects that tell your own Santa Barbara story, or take a Polaroid picture of a favorite sweater, pair of jeans, or bracelet, an object found in your pocket, or the shoes on your feet at the workshop. Work with volunteers to record your family story, add copies of family photos to the Community Visual Storyline, and enjoy music and refreshments.
