Studio Sunday

Create a clay and wire sculpture inspired by Masao Yamamoto’s “A Box of Ku #165 (Birds on a Small Tree),” now on view in Brought to Light: Revelatory Photographs in the Santa Barbara Museum of Art Collection. Sculpt a tree base out of wire, then balance small birds molded out of white clay and decorated with tempera paint on the branches.
