Cruising the Greek Isles aboard Le Bougainville
Cruise into the cradle of Western civilization and the classical world aboard Le Bougainville, a new luxurious ship which made her debut in 2019. The itinerary includes guided tours of Delos, Mykonos, Pátmos, Rhodes, Santorini, Mycenae, and Epidaurus with optional pre- and post-tour extensions of Athens and Delphi, respectively. Visit six magnificent UNESCO World Heritage sites and experience the time-honored traditions and delights of authentic Greek villages. Lecturers from cosponsoring institutions will give talks on board and there will also be a panel of local residents discussing contemporary life on the Greek Isles. Cosponsoring organizations include Duke, Harvard, Smithsonian, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
