Art historian Jenni Sorkin, Professor and Chair, Department of History of Art & Architecture, UCSB, and Bay-Area based sculptor Ashwini Bhat will be in conversation to celebrate Resonances (Radius Books, 2026), Bhat’s first monograph, that traces her artistic journey and embrace of California as a homeland, and its own primary role in her narrative sculptural practice.
