Nani Gonzalo Vargas
Originally from Andalucía, Nani is a graduate of the University of Granada. After receiving her English language and literature degree, Nani was awarded a grant by the European Union to travel to Finland, where she taught Spanish and studied green tourism.
In 1999, she became a licensed guide in Spain and has given lectures on contemporary Spain and the Prado Museum. She has led many groups throughout Spain, including three prior trips for the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and other European countries.
Nani's extensive knowledge of art and culture, always upbeat attitude, loveable nature, caring deameanor, attention to detail, and calming presence has made her one of SBMA's favorite travel leaders.
Nani lives in Madrid. Her interests include reading, traveling, classical music, meeting new people and spending time with her husband and children.
