Venice & the Veneto with Nigel McGilchrist

Venture into privately owned villas, including some of the finest masterworks of the hugely influential Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio on this insider’s tour of the Veneto. This region flourished during the Venetian empire and has long been a haven for artists, writers, and the great patrician families of Northern Italy. Important collections remain in some of the villas we will visit, many of them designed by the 16th-century Palladio and many of them still in private hands.
