Following the Footsteps of St. Paul aboard Serenissima

Visit several of the most important ancient Greek and Roman sites in the world—including Ephesus, Pergamon, and Troy. Witness one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World at the site of the Temple of Artemis. Stop on the Greek island of Patmos, where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation. After one hotel night in Cyprus, embark the newly refurbished 95-passenger Serenissima for eight nights, following St. Paul’s footsteps along the western coast of Turkey to Istanbul, visiting stunning ancient sites along the way reflecting not only Paul’s legacy but also elements of Greek, Roman, and Byzantine civilizations.

Join SBMA and our co-sponsoring organizations, as well as two study leaders—a specialist in the history of ancient and medieval Christianity at Yale and a classical archeologist/professor of art history—for this special opportunity.
