
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
On Thursday, October 1, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art will officially reopen with special exclusive access for Museum Members October 1 - October 11. General public admission to the Museum will begin on Wednesday, October 14. Advance ticketing reservations are highly recommended and guarantee your entry time.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled time slot to avoid crowding. The suggested visit time is 90 minutes. Your ticket will be required for entrance (printed or on smartphone).
Masks are required for all visitors 2 years and older at all times and in all areas of the Museum, including lobby, galleries, stairs, elevator, Museum Store, and restrooms. Masks must be worn covering nose and mouth. For more information on what to expect during your visit, click here.
If you are no longer able to visit during your selected time slot, please contact tickets@sbma.net to cancel your reservation so that a space may be opened up for another visitor.
The Museum is also now dedicating the first two hours (Wednesday – Sunday, 9 – 11 am) to serve seniors over the age of 65 and or those who may need additional time/space in the galleries. Tickets for early entry can be found here.
